This overview requirement may be met by attending programs structured by MACTE-accredited teacher education programs or via a private overview from an AMS, AMI, or NCME- certified teacher.

NH Elementary II students who entered in July 2007 will have Language and Cultural July 7-18, 2008. These students will have two two-day seminars in October and May. This group (only)has the option of concluding exams during the third week of July or participating in one concluding week in July 2009.

All summer classes are conducted Mondays- Fridays from 8:30a-5:30p.

Schedules include supervised practice and material-making times.

Flexible Scheduling: 

Students who are unable to return for seminar sessions during the academic year may arrange for work to be made up during summer lab hours. Supervised evening lab times allow flexible practice schedules and travel.

Attendance

Attendance at all academic sessions and a 1080 hour practicum experience at an approved site is required for AMS certification students.

Practicum

While we are happy to assist within reasonable limits, it remains the responsibility of the student to locate an acceptable practicum site and to fulfill all practicum requirements. Neither employment nor salary levels can be guaranteed by Seacoast Center.
