Our Fees

There is no additional fee for seminars.

The Application Fee is due before your file may be processed. This fee is non-refundable after three days, and is not credited to tuition.

A Reservation Deposit of $225.00 is due upon acceptance. This holds your place in the event the program fills. The deposit is credited to tuition. It is refundable if written notification of withdrawal is made to the Course Director 10 business days before the beginning of the course.

Should you choose a payment plan, the initial payment and signed enrollment agreement must be received before classes begin.

Professional Fees are due before the program begins. These go to AMS and MACTE as part of your registration. This fee is includes intern membership in AMS. This fee is nonrefundable after the first day of the course. Current membership in AMS does not exempt you from this fee.

The Materials Fee is due before the program begins. This fee is billed separately. The ownership of teacher-made materials is a matter we urge you to clarify before entering any agreements with practicum sites. In general, if a student pays the materials fee materials belong to the student and if a sponsoring school pays the fee they belong to the school. Additional materials sets are available to client schools.

The term “materials” as it is used here means teaching handbooks, a selection of paper masters and full-color curriculum materials. These materials are required in order to meet course assignments.  A core set of materials is supplied. These satisfy course requirements. You should expect to prepare a substantial number of materials in excess of course material-making requirements in order to prepare your classroom adequately.   Materials are not returnable, discountable, or available in partial sets and the materials fee is nonrefundable.

Sponsoring schools are entitled to buy additional sets of materials at this rate.

Important Information: Responsibility for Accounts

Obligation for payment rests with the student even when sponsored by a school. We cannot be involved in financial agreements between the enrolled student and sponsoring school. For your protection, please read all tuition and fee information carefully. The enrollment agreement is a legal contract. Please do not sign it if you do not understand and accept all of our policies regarding fees and refund policies.
